Ideological work

The ideology of the Belarusian state is a doctrine about the norms of life, ideals and values of the Belarusian people, about state institutions implementing ideological policy, and about ideological processes characterizing the goals and features of the Belarusian path of social development.

The main guidelines of ideology — humanistic values, tolerance, civic consciousness, patriotism, healthy lifestyle.

The state and the state system are designed to ensure the structure, systematicity and content of human life and development of a particular individual. The state acts as a social institution in which a person learns the norms of behavior and activity, realizes his rights and obligations towards other people, contributes to the social, economic, political, and moral development of society.

Main tasks:

  • to ensure interaction of participants in the pedagogical process to create conditions for effective ideological and ideological-educational work;
  • to form views, beliefs, value orientations, develop national identity and civic position in the educational process;
  • to develop skills of responsible behavior, develop interpersonal communication skills, foster an active personal and social position, develop healthy lifestyle skills.

Hometown – Baranovichi

Baranovichi — the eighth largest city in Belarus, located at the intersection of major international road and railway routes, one of the largest industrial and cultural centers of Belarus.

Its emergence is associated with the construction of the Moscow-Brest railway. The city was founded by a small station of this railway, put into operation in November 1871, which received its name from one of the nearby villages.

The official birth date of the city is November 28, 1871.

From the early 20th century, several old buildings have survived in the city — the excise department, Laevsky's pharmacy (which houses a museum of pharmacy), a fire station with a watchtower, and several buildings of the Razvadovsky estate.

145 objects are included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of Baranovichi. Monuments and memorable places are associated with various periods in the history of the region. 17 objects are included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus: 9 architectural monuments, 6 historical objects, 2 art objects.

State structure of the Republic of Belarus

The democratic foundations of Belarusian statehood guarantee the diversity of political institutions, ideologies and views, equal rights for all. Inalienable human rights are recognized and guaranteed. State power is exercised on the basis of its division into legislative, executive and judicial branches.

The Republic of Belarus — is a unitary democratic social rule-of-law state.

The Republic of Belarus has supremacy and full power on its territory, independently implements domestic and foreign policy.

The 1994 Constitution of the Republic of Belarus is in force with amendments and additions adopted at the republican referendums of November 24, 1996 and October 17, 2004.

The Republic of Belarus is a presidential republic

Head of State — the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The President is the guarantor of the Constitution, the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. The President embodies the unity of the people, guarantees the implementation of the main directions of domestic and foreign policy, represents the Republic of Belarus in relations with other states and international organizations.

The President takes measures to protect the sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus, its national security and territorial integrity. One of the main functions entrusted to the President is to maintain economic and political stability in the country.

The President has immunity, his honor and dignity are protected by law.

The President is elected for five years directly by the people of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of universal, free and equal suffrage.

Legislative branch

Legislative power is exercised by a bicameral parliament — the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

The lower housethe House of Representatives, the upper housethe Council of the Republic .

The term of office is 4 years.

The House of Representatives consists of 110 deputies who are elected in constituencies and represent the interests of citizens.

The Council of the Republic — is the chamber of territorial representation. From each region and the city of Minsk, 8 members are elected by secret ballot at meetings of deputies of the basic level of the respective administrative-territorial units — a total of 56 representatives. The same number of members of the Council of the Republic is appointed by the President of the country.

The right of legislative initiative belongs to the President, deputies of the House of Representatives, the Council of the Republic, the Government, as well as citizens with voting rights numbering at least 50 thousand people and is implemented in the House of Representatives.

Executive branch

Executive power in the republic is exercised by the Government — the Council of Ministers , which is the central body of state administration.

The Government is headed by the Prime Minister.

In its activities, the government is accountable to the President of the country and responsible to parliament. The government resigns its powers before the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus.

Judicial branch

Judicial power in the republic belongs to the courts. The court system is built on the principles of territoriality and specialization.

It consists of the Constitutional Court and the system of courts of general jurisdiction.

Control over the constitutionality of normative acts in the state is exercised by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.

The Supreme Court heads the system of courts of general jurisdiction and is the highest judicial body for civil, criminal, administrative and economic cases.

Local government and self-government

Local government and self-government are carried out through local executive and administrative bodies, self-government bodies.
