Modern high-performance CNC equipment allows OJSC «558 ARZ» to produce aircraft parts and assemblies of varying complexity and range from various materials

Manufacturing

The interactive system of three-dimensional modeling, computer-aided design, manufacturing and calculation of products operating at the enterprise ensures a full closed cycle of production of aircraft parts from design to their manufacture.

Over 400,000 various parts are manufactured annually at OJSC «558 ARZ». The enterprise manufactures:

  • airframe elements (hatches, brackets, fittings, clamps, power elements: ribs, frames, beams, walls, etc.);
  • parts of liquid-gas systems of aircraft;
  • landing gear parts.
  • low and high pressure pipelines made of structural and stainless steels, copper, aluminum and titanium alloys of all systems of repaired products;
  • rubber products (more than 7,000 items);
  • complex-profile and high-precision parts.

Processing of products is carried out on high-performance CNC equipment with turning in 3 coordinates, milling in one setup from five sides, grinding.

  • Maximum dimensions of processed parts 6000×2300×800 mm
  • Positioning accuracy P = 5 µm
  • Average positioning deviation Ps = 3 µm
  • Dimensional accuracy 5 – 6 grade
  • Manufacturing accuracy up to 0.005 µm

The machine park also allows the production of cylindrical, conical, combined, stepped, etc., cutting tools from various modern materials.

Quality control

The following types of non-destructive testing have been implemented at the enterprise to control the quality of manufactured aircraft components and aviation equipment parts:

  • airframe elements (hatches, brackets, fittings, clamps, power elements: ribs, frames, beams, walls, etc.);
  • parts of liquid-gas systems of aircraft;
  • landing gear parts.
  • low and high pressure pipelines made of structural and stainless steels, copper, aluminum and titanium alloys of all systems of repaired products;
  • rubber products (more than 7,000 items);
  • complex-profile and high-precision parts.

For incoming inspection of materials and testing of finished products, the enterprise has a central plant laboratory accredited in the national accreditation system of the Republic of Belarus for compliance with the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 17025.

The equipment available in the laboratory allows a wide range of tests of materials and finished products, including climatic tests, with a temperature range from -60°C to +60°C.
