The main directions of aviation materiel upgrade:
- expansion of the range of air weapons used;
- increasing the detection range of aerial targets;
- upgrade of cockpit's instrumentation;
- installation of ICAO standard equipment;
- installation of electronic countermeasures system;
- implementation of new operation modes of the radar sighting system;
- improving accuracy and performance of navigation system;
- modification of the standard and introduction of the new on-board and on-ground systems for flight data monitoring, recording, documenting and processing.
